Continuing Studies

Take the next step on your learning path with an evening, weekend or online course.

For more than 75 years, UBC Continuing Studies has provided engaging continuing education programs that help UBC alumni and other lifelong learners pursue their personal and career development goals, and make positive contributions to their communities.

Whether you prefer to study in-class or online, in a one-day course or a two-year program, we offer flexible ways to learn at a pace that works for you.

Choose a Course, Apply for a Program

Select from hundreds of courses or explore topics in more depth through an award of achievement or certificate program. We also offer vocational testing and counselling that can help you uncover potential career directions.

Learn at the Alumni Centre – and Beyond

The Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre is an outstanding new venue for lifelong learning. Join in-class courses at this or other sites on the UBC Point Grey campus, or study in the heart of downtown Vancouver at UBC Robson Square. A growing number of courses are available fully online or through a blend of in-class and online instruction.
