Parking & Accessibility

Our address is 6163 University Boulevard. However, Google Maps may provide you with the wrong directions unless you use this address: 6133 University Blvd, V6T 1Z1.

 

Short Term & VIP

Our venue has a small loading bay with limited parking (three stalls) next to the building. We will work with you to manage vendor load-in and general event drop-off in this area. When available, we can offer you one complimentary VIP parking stall to be used for your event. As this isn’t guaranteed, please speak to your venue contact.

Guest Parking

There is limited metered street parking available along University Boulevard and Westbrook Mall. We suggest using one of the following parkades:

University Boulevard Lot (Premium — next door to venue)

Pricing: $4 per hour — no maximum

Health Science Parkade (Economy — five-minute walk)

Valet Parking

The Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre is proud to partner with Park Avenue Valets Ltd. Park Avenue Valets will work with UBC Parking Services on your behalf, organize all the logistics, and provide exemplary service and added convenience for your guests. They provide:

  • uniformed, trained and professional valets
  • all valet parking signage
  • all valet parking equipment including ticket stubs and locking key boxes
  • complete insurance coverage (ICBC Liability Insurance and General Liability Insurance).

Accessibility

Three accessible stalls are located outside our building. Payment must be arranged through the adjacent meter. Ground level access or ramp access allows you to enter through any of our three main floor doors. We have two elevators allowing access to any of our four floors. There aren’t any barriers for entry into our rooms or offices. Our modular performance stage doesn’t have a ramp; if required, the event host must arrange to have one brought in. We don’t have onsite closed captioning software, but we can recommend some great local suppliers that can work with you to obtain your accessible event goals.
